Jaime Sebastian Mejias

Professor Jaime Sebastian Mejias is the founder of the Kana Samurai Foundation. A lifelong martial artist, Jaime holds a 5th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and a Black Sash in Wing Chun Kung Fu.

Since founding the Kana Samurai Foundation, Mito stays very close to the community, working alongside the Noke Koi to support families and build partnerships rooted in respect, cultural exchange, and shared purpose. His vision for the foundation began after traveling to the Amazon and forming a relationship with the Noke Koi people.

In addition to leading KSF Jaime owns and instructs at Samurai Inti Martial Arts in Frisco, Texas, where he has spent more than 20 years growing a profitable business and teaching students of all ages the principles of discipline, courage, and compassion through martial arts. Jaime guides hundreds of students through his philosophy of “The Way of the Heart,” which emphasizes personal growth, service, and the responsibility that comes with strength.

Jaime is a TEDx speaker and mentor who believes that true strength is expressed through compassion and service to others.
